Overview of Services

• Individual therapy using a solution-focused cognitive-behavioral approach. You will be asked for your goals at the first session and will be given homework designed to address your goals. You decide when the therapy is finished.

• Family Therapy-Children age 3 and up and Adolescents using a systems approach. That means the child’s behavior is always considered within the context of the family and parents are expected to participate in the therapy. I use behavior modification, play therapy and creative expression with younger children; solution-focused therapy with adolescents. Coaching is provided to parents to assist them in managing behaviors.

• Conjoint (couple) therapy with a bias toward preserving the marriage absent abuse, persistent infidelity, violence, or persistent addictions. I am a member of the American Association of Marriage Friendly Therapists.

• Faith Based Christian Counseling meaning that I am happy to discuss with you God’s place in your life and how your spiritual orientation can be integrated with the goals of your therapy. I do not provide pastoral counseling.

• DOT/SAP and Substance Abuse Assessments using the most up to date testing instruments and standard of care for substance abuse and addictions.

Telephone calls and email correspondence for therapeutic issues are available, and will be charged at the rate of $100 per hour, or $25 per every 15 minutes with 15 minutes minimum charge.

Any evaluations for legal purposes are charged at $100 per hour including preparation, report writing, travel, and wait time. Actual in person court time is billed at $ 150 per hour.
